Fire Imp

Found this picture of fire in the local newspaper and I doodled over it. The fire imp was born. Scanned it and drew over it in PS:
Doodled over this fire too:D:
My imagination is going overboard again... I feel like a kid who sees shapes and patterns in everything.

=))You can have more than a pinch but only if you give me some of yours! I wish I could give my characters the same feeling you give yours. Sometimes, mine feel soo... fluffy, without substance. Yours give me the feeling of stubbornness and passion.

swap of brains for a day or two? :3' (YES YES!LETS!:D) but honestly, i don't feel like that at all when i look at your characters!but i think they have a more "calm" feel to them, you know? like, most of them are portrayed in a very.. uuuhm.. "portrait" way.(? yay!my english. x'D) in sweden we say "in your best light", when trying to express how one present themself without flaw.- i know you to be incredable imaginative n creative, n i can just imagine what complex n interesting, drama-riddled stories your characters are interwined in, but i think you're holding these moments(when your characters are lost, scared, sad, confused, betrayed, happy or disgusted for whatever reason)back when you draw, choosing to draw them at their "best" instead? i mean. i draw my fav characters peeing themself. literally (http://drend.blogspot.com/2011/08/untitled-comic02-old-stuff.html) just to "break-free" from that "best light situation". :3

I think you're right. They do always look like they're posing when I draw them. I don't think I've noticed it until now. Not expressing a lot of emotion really. I'm going to try and "break-free" as you put it and draw them angry and crying and laughing, maybe in some embarrassing situations as well. :)
